With the upcoming commencement; students, staff, faculty, and the community can expect various changes. Unlike previous years, commencement will consist of two different days allowing for events and entertainment.
Friday, May 11th, will consist of the official degree conferral in L.T. Smith Stadium. Following the degree conferral ceremony will be a Big Red bash and fireworks on South Lawn. The ceremony will begin with the Topper Walk, where all graduates will walk together into the stadium.
Saturday, May 12th, will consist of the six academic colleges and students will be individually recognized taking place in E.A. Diddle Arena.
This spring will be WKU’s 183rd Commencement.
