Bowling Green, Kentucky is home to many services aimed at helping veterans.
However, one service Bowling Green doesn’t offer for veterans, is a nursing home.
Michael Lee Meredith, 19th District State Representative, is working to resolve the issue with House Bill Thirteen.
“They deserve everything that we can give them, and this is just another way to say thank you to them for everything they have done for out community, our state, [and] our nation,” says Representative Meredith.
The 30 million dollar facility is expected to be built in the Kentucky Transpark, which will house 90 veterans. There are currently only four veteran only nursing homes in the state.
