WKU faces a rise in flu cases


On February 10, 2017 students on the campus of Western Kentucky University received an email from the assistant director of Health Education and Promotion Program.

The assistant director, Kathryn Steward informed students that the university is experiencing a large number of positive flu cases. The Graves Gilbert campus is well stocked with flu vaccines.

The state of Kentucky is recommending people get flu shots up until April. There will be 100% protection from the flu after two weeks.
