Over the weekend WKU students came together in centennial mall for a candlelight vigil in memory of the lives lost during the terror attacks on September 11th. Around 30 students stopped by to light a candle in memory of the 15th anniversary of 9/11.

During the vigil members of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. sang the national anthem and recited a poem to honor the thousands who lost their lives.

Others in attendance had the chance to light a candle for all the people, policemen, and firefighters who died during the attacks. Students were welcome to recall where they were that day and their memories of this American tragedy.
